Day 1:
Upon you arrival at the Beijing Capital International
Airport, our experienced guide will meet you and escort you to
your hotel. After arest, we visit the Lama Temple in Tibetan
style. The temple halls are set in enclosed courtyards and
are adorned with magnificent carvde statues of Buddha, the greatest
of which, 18 meters high, carved from a single piece of sandalwood.
We also visit the Confucian Temple, the second largest in China.
Day 2:
Today, we take you for a stroll in the world
largest Tiananmen Square which is bordered by the Great Hall of
the People and the Museum of Chinese History with Mao's Mausoleum
in the very center, before going on to the Forbidden City, the
complex of imperial palaces which were home to the emperors for
over 500 year in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Some of the grand
halls have been used as museums for fine collections of Chinese
Paintings and Treasures. We visit the Temple of Heaven,
exquisite example of Ming architecture, where the emperors performed
the annual rites essential to the wellbeing of China. In
the evening, after a Chinese dinner, you have a chance to appreciate
unique performance of Beijing Opera.
Day 3:
An unforgettable day for everyone. Escorted
by our guide, you'll visit the world renowned Great Wall.
The fortified towers, built in different shapes-round, rectangular
or oval, stand majestically amidst the undulating mountains surrounding
them. After lunch, you visit the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors
were buried.
Day 4:
We visit the Summer Palace, where the emperors
lived in summer to escape the city heat. Travel to Luoyang
by train.
Day 5:
Arrive Luoyang and visit the Longmen Cave
with over 100,000 Buddha statues of all sizes as well as Guan
Temple, memory of Guanyu, a famous historical figure of China.
We will also visit Triple-color Horse Factory.
Day 6:
We visit Shaolin Temple which was built in
the 19th year of Taihe's reign in the Northern. Wei Dynasty
(AD 495). In 527 an Indian monk named Dhama founded the
Cham Sect in the Shaolin Temple. This is making itself the
birthplace of Chan. We also visit White Horse Temple, another
famous historic site.
Day 7:
After touring the old part of Luoyang City,
we will go to Xian by train.
Day 8:
Guarding the imperial burial place is a vast
Terra-Cotta Army, 6000 life-size figures, individually crafted,
and complete with chariots and horses. It is an unforgettable
sight. We visit the Huaqing Hot Springs Palace where pagodas
and temples are set round a small lake spa. Then, sightseeing
to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built in Tang Dynasty. An
optional evening performance of excellent Tan era music and dancing
is available.
Day 9:
We take to the visit Grand Mosque, which is
the largest and most historic mosque in Xian, displaying artistic
features of Chinese traditional architecture. We visit the
Bell Tower which used to mark the time. There are staircases
inside ofr tourists to climb and view the surroundings .
we also visit the Jade Carving Factory. Fly to Shanghai.
Day 10:
We take a boat trip on the Huangpu River and
visit the Bund, lined with gracious European buildings overlooking
the Huangpu River. We visit Jade Buddha Temple. We
visit YuYuan Garden, an old Chinese quarter of Shanghai.
In the evening, we watch and enjoy a Chinese acrobatic show.
Day 11:
Travel to Suzhou by train. We visit
the Humble Administrator's Garden for which Suzhou is famed.
We visit the Fishing Net Garden, Tiger Hill and an embroidery
factory to witness the intricate work involved in producing the
region's renowned double-sided embroidery.
Day 12:
We go to Guilin for a city sightseeing tour
to the Reed Flute Cave.
Day 13:
A cruise along the Li River to the town of
Yangshuo carries us gently through a magical landscape.
Day 14:
Fly from Guilin to Guangzhou. We visit
Dr. Sun's Memorial Hall, which was built with funds contributed
by overseas Chinese and the residents of Guangzhou to honor Dr.Chen
families from 72 countries in Guangdong Province. We will
also visit the Six Banya Temple. The great writer and calligrapher
Su Dongbo ob the Song Dynasty visited the temple.
Day 15:
Travel to Hong Kong by train.
Day 16:
You have a half day to explore Hong Kong.
